Over-optimization and the Google Sandbox
July 14, 2010 – 11:53 amIf you put a lot of work into creating a really great site to find that no one can find it and what does not Google rank your site very much. You hear something called “Search Engine Optimization” and decided to try it. Before you go your keywords to build every element of your pages and links, as you can, take a step back and remember the old saying: “Sometimes less is more.”
Search engine optimization, or SEO, has really taken over the last five years, more young webmasters have created Web sites to see that nobody comes to visit. to quickly find, in its exploration of ways to get more visitors, most of them, how to optimize resources on a website for search engines and go right to search anywhere watering can work strengthening the links from anywhere they can get .
This causes problems for search engines, because let’s face it, try to manipulate search results and they try to avoid being manipulated. After all, just because you think your site is an excellent resource on a topic does not mean that it is. Google has been the webmaster, which is adjusted by optimizing their website, and it’s called the Google sandbox. The Sandbox is a name that webmasters are unhappy with the situation where a new web site rank well, a keyword is found in the rankings, that suddenly one day for several months on the road. What is this sandbox, and what might cause it?
My theory is that the sandbox actually a trustbox “, which means that Google sees on many attributes of your page to see if you try to manipulate the search rankings, means. The most obvious and pitfalls that most Webmasters Township early fall, I think, is about optimizing your content to the site and building quality links too low too fast.
I think, is the youngest of your domain name, the less tolerance, Google has more pages optimization or building suspected fast connection. Once you put the filter youre journey into the holding cell (”sandbox”), because Google suspects to try to manipulate the results. I also believe that the tolerance depends for most of the optimization of the industry, is spam industry as drugs are much more sensitive than most over-optimization. This may in some discouragement of many who hope to see success quickly, as these industries have already competitive enough that you highly optimized content and many links for places to compete in honor, but it can not be too fast or you’ll sandbox .
At a recent conference Webmaster World, said Matt Cutts of Google, it was not really a “sandbox”, but “affect the algorithm may cause some Web sites, possibly in a way that felt a webmaster would be isolated.” This means that to avoid the Sandbox, is only a matter of optimizing your site without triggering the filter in Google’s algorithm.
Ask yourself the following questions to avoid over-optimization penalties:
- Is that your goal as a single keyword phrase and nothing else?
- Are your keywords in various places: the title, header, sub-, bold or italic words?
- The page is read differently than you would normally speak to?
- Are you a competitive industry, which is frequented by spammers?
- Do you have a large number of vulnerabilities quickly acquired PageRank?
- Only very few high PageRank (6 +) have shown links to your site?
In conclusion, the current theory of Google Sandbox that it’s actually more like a holding cell, where Google “police” is to keep your site when it may try to manipulate search results suspect. escape with the aging field, most sites eventually earn enough “confidence” in the sandbox and start immediately with a classification, where they normally do. Remember that Google is not the hand of the classification of websites - in the end, it is simply a computer algorithm, and those who are capable of good results in Google’s algorithm are not tripping all receive filters can achieve top rankings and in the most benefit.
